About Me
Hi! My name is Sage, I'm 22 years old and from Long Island, NY and I'm a Mass Communications Major with a focus in Broadcasting at Five Towns College. I grew up loving both photography and sports, but mostly hockey. I received my first camera in 7th grade and broke it less than a year later (lol). But during the short period of having that camera, my parents noticed some of the shots I had taken and were impressed. For my 17th birthday, my dad surprised me by finally getting me a new camera and everything took off from there. I'm a "self taught photographer", but use that term very loosely, as I don't even consider myself a photographer, but person trying to figure out life with her camera.

NEW YORK RANGERS

I come from a long line of hockey fans, especially the New York Rangers. Adopting a love for the sport myself is where I also found a love for sports photography.

After finding a liking to sports photography in hockey, I wanted to try and give it a go at other sports. I'll be the first to say, they're not fantastic, but as one would hope, with practice, these will get better.
STILL PHOTOGRAPHY

Aside from hockey and sports photography, I often take my camera with me to bigger events I go to, like concerts, vacations, etc. These are the times where I get to focus on still photography as opposed to fast motion photography that I see on a regular basis whilst at sporting event. They're not my best, which is why I normally stick to sports lol.
